Implementing a comprehensive list-based management system for workplace safety is Sichuan Province's top priority in safety work. In 2 this year, the Sichuan Provincial Safety Committee issued its No. 1 document, "Notice on Further Advancing the List-Based Management System for Workplace Safety," mandating province-wide rollout of this approach. The system serves as a critical lever to stabilize the foundation of workplace safety, ensuring that local governments fulfill their territorial responsibilities, industry departments enforce regulatory oversight, and enterprises assume primary responsibility. This initiative strengthens risk control and hazard remediation, firmly prevents major accidents, and shifts workplace safety management from reactive post-incident response to proactive, precise prevention.
Since the issuance of No. 1 Document by the Provincial Safety Committee, all regions and departments across the province have attached great importance to it and swiftly arranged deployment to accelerate the development and release of the checklist reference template (Version 1.0). To date, all tasks in the first phase of checklist management have been fully completed, and we have entered the second phase focused on developing checklists.
To further clarify responsibilities for safety production supervision and strengthen oversight, on the occasion of the 19th National "Safety Production Month,"The Sichuan Provincial Department of Emergency Management, in collaboration with Cover News, launched the "Safety Production Checklist Knowledge Challenge" campaign.
